Just a quick post today to show off my new hair! As you can see from the profile picture on my homepage, my hair is naturally very dark. I've wanted to lighten it up for a while so decided to bite the bullet the other day & get it done! I'd originally decided I wanted highlights but after showing my cousin (she's my hairdresser) a few pictures of what I wanted done, she suggested more of an ombre/ balayage effect. The pics below are the results!

Sorry about the difference in picture size, my cousin took the first picture on her phone which is different to mine.
I really like it! I was stupid enough to dye my hair the night before I got this done because I wanted a darker base to start with so it didn't go as light as it could have gone. I may get it lightened up in a few weeks but for the moment I'm happy!
