This Week...

Hello lovelies!

I hope you've all had a fab weekend, here's a few snippets of what I've been up to during the week.

This week has been a pretty quiet one to be honest! As I keep rambling on about, I had my last exam last week & handed my last piece of coursework for Year 2. This means that the last few weeks have been spent studying and reading pages & pages of boring notes for hours on end so I really just wanted to have a chilled week & have spent it catching up on TV that I'd missed whilst studying & drinking a ridiculous amount of tea. A bit boring but well needed!

If you read my "New Hair" post the other day then you'll have seen that this week I went for quite a change when I visited the hairdressers! My hair is naturally really dark  & I've fancied a change for a while so I thought I'd lighten it up for Summer! I'm loving it so far!

Apologies for this internet-sourced picture I forgot to take a pic whilst I was there! I hadn't seen my friend Beth for ages so on Thursday we went for dinner at TGI Fridays! I absolutely love that place & always order the same thing (cajun chicken pasta - try it, you won't regret it!). We had a lovely catch up which was great as we've both been so busy with exams & uni lately.

This morning me, my mum & my little sister (yes, she's taller than me, let's overlook that) took part in Glasgow's 2014 Cancer Research Race For Life. This event means a lot to us as I lost my Gran to cancer when I was 6 & lost my Papa when I was 13, so we've been running in their memory & fundraising in the hope that a cure will be found one day! It's such a great event; every year the amount of people who take part is just incredible & everyone is just so optimistic & happy & covered in pink! It just had such a great atmosphere & was a fab way to spend a Sunday morning! My muscles are going to be absolute agony tomorrow though as I have the fitness levels of a slug & genuinely can't remember the last time I did a brisk walk never mind a 5k run! Ah well, it was for a good cause.

So that's a few snapshots of what I've been up to during the week! Did you do anything nice?
